"They have a cute and vibrant patio garden. The service was great! The server, Lea, was super friendly and recommended an amazing meal combo. Thanks Lea :) Their menu has variety from salads and burgers to fancy and typical duck. Great ice cream!"

"Delicious ice cream. Nice decor. I only wish the light bulbs were higher as many people bumped into them and being clumsy by nature, I foresaw dreadful consequences. But look the main thing is that the food is yummy."

"A nice place for breakfast or lunch. Very tasty pancakes. Nice staff, smiling and waitress always present. My son has allergies but a pancake was prepared for him off the menu so he could eat with us. It was very nice :-)"

"PERFECT! We highly recommend Tante Jeanne as everything - reaching from the delicious food to the fast and attentive food and the chill atmosphere - was absolutely perfect. Prices were reasonable, food was fresh & tasty, atmosphere was relaxed and everything was clean and welcoming! The team was working hard to deliver an awesome service! The best place we have been to so far in Hossegor!"

"Unbeatable food, but mediocre service and a crowded restaurant. Occasionally a restaurant's food is so good that I'll forego acceptable manners and pick the bowl up to scrape it clean, once in a while, I'll place it close to my mouth so as to make the maneuver more efficient. Tante Jeanne's bowls were so good that I not only did this for my dish (Thais Bowl), but my wife's (Lisa Bowl) as well. Unfortunately the magic was isolated to the food. The service was a 3/10, and to be honest all 3 of those points were from our main waitress, who steered confused food delivery servers to the appropriate table, but not before they tried to deliver the dish to the first table they saw. "No, I didn't order the..." Was a sentence I had to repeat every 5 minutes or so. We also ordered a wine, and it took so long to get our wine glasses that we used our water glasses after we had time to kill the water bottle. The atmosphere, as previously mentioned, was crowded. I fully appreciate not having to wait for my party of 8 to be seated, but there were also too many customers for the staff, leaving the feeling of a hurried, chaotic meal. It was also 43° when we visited and the canopy of umbrellas was effective at blocking the sun, but blocked the wind, thereby creating an oven effect in the patio area. All things considered, I'll still probably return because the food is worth it."

"By far the best restaurant in Hossegor! Very popular and authentic place, “Tante Jeanne” is an absolute gem. If you’re near the region, you have to try it! Very crowded in Summer, I recommend going there early (7pm) to get the first tables because they don’t do reservations. I like how the restaurant is organized: there is a main floor facing the street, a very cute backyard with a cool bar and finally an upper floor. The menu is great and there are choices for everyone. The prices are ok but the cocktails are a bit overpriced. It’s also worth trying the ice creams in the front. They’re homemade and fresh as you want it to be. Great sorbets too!"
